Hey guys,

I am new here; and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andy, and I am building a 65 Barracuda. Below are some links, where you can find/follow me and the builds.

The car is currently in the paint/body shop. I am very excited to get it back; as the transmission and engine are ready to be installed. I have a 440 Cubic inch Ritter small block that I built for boost. It made 610tq and 600hp N/A. These numbers are a little less than I wanted; however, I will compensate with boost. Decided to play with Nitrous for the first time; so I will be giving the engine a 400-600 shot . Once I am tired of the nitrous, I plan to go single turbo and aim for 1250-1500hp. Engine will be backed up by a built A518 trans built by Cope Racing Transmissions!

Any questions, on the build feel free to ask! I will upload some photos of the engine/transmission soon!

Nope, I don't have any kids yet (I'm 26).

planning on Pearl white body, matte black hood & drag wing. Also, toying with idea of dipping all stainless steel/chrome carbon fiber.

wow, thats pretty young to have such a great taste in cars

i like the idea of white and black, the carbon fibre...not so much

Only reason I am thinking about the carbon fibre; is because how expensive it is the get things chrome plated. I need to sit down and find out what is chrome vs stainless on the car.

Gotcha, so it picks up that lower body line. Great idea. Looks so much better than that factory low cut wheel opening IMHO. Perfect for replacing rot in that area and to repurpose front fenders that may have rot on the bottom or headlight bucket area.

Great build, all round fantastic build and I especially love the hood and front spoiler.

Is this a track car only or do you plan on some street miles?
