set of beautiful Rallye wheels which I outfitted with brand new BFG's..and ordered basically everything for new interior..headliner, seat covers..carpet, dash pad, etc.. Just started the body..had to pull a bit to straighten the frame, a couple of lower rear quarter patch panels and it's really starting to smell like progress.. What's frightening, as you all know, is the cost of doing a project now.. I'm freaking out because I've already spent way over what I thought I would, and it's not even close to being done.. Hope it's all worth it, and when she's done and I'm driving for the first time I can relax.

Looking pretty good, keep at it.
I too have gone well over the budget in a real short time. She'll be sharp when you get her finished.

Just getting rid of that trash heap of an interior was an enormous improvement.
INDEED..!!!
And finding the 72 buckets and rear seats was a bit of a miracle.. especially in the condition they're in.. I have new Legendary covers on the way, but these would be good enough to cruise with.

Some of yall make this stuff look so easy. All those complex curves around the wheel well.......I'd just curl up on the floor and cry. lol

Disclaimer.. I am not doing the body work.. I have a profession restoration guy doing it.. I don't have the patience nor the skill ..!!

Well, "somebody's" good at it. lol I know it ain't me.

Looks great and it’ll be worth it once complete. I’m just now getting quotes to do pretty much the same with our 72 Demon. Quarter patch panels, lower driver’s fender patch, prep body and paint. I too was surprised at the first quote. Plus I’m pulling the interior, dropping engine/ tranny and rear suspension I order to save $. Guess I waited too many years to get it done. I’ll be watching your progress.

Send out some pix of yours too..!

Got my dash pad in from Classic on Friday after waiting almost 10 weeks...and it had flaws.. It should have never made it past quality control, if there is such a thing anymore.. Will be sending it back hoping the next is better...ugh. Was going to have the drivers side lower 1/4 patch done this weekend, but they sent the wrong side panel... Again, where is QUALITY CONTROL..??? Is there a Ford or Chevy guy out there that put a hex on me... Can't we all just get along...lol. If anyone viewing these has some input about the body work being done..suggestions, criticisms etc...I'd love to hear it.

Without a doubt one of the hardest Bucket seats to find in the muscle car world IMO.... I overpaid for mine 5 years ago but are in exactly the shape as advertised and at the time I couldn't get close to anything in the condition mine are in....

Oh yeah, nice work so far on the car...

Yeah, I probably over paid for mine too.. But for the condition they were in, I think well worth it.
