Yet.... ANOTHER FABO race ??????
I'd love to, but we've got a race booked with Hoosier Garage and his '72 shorty van against ours, so I'll be bringing the Shorty van to the NoNameNationalsGo for it. Use the Dual Quad Duster!
Who says you can't race Dartfreak with the van.I'd love to, but we've got a race booked with Hoosier Garage and his '72 shorty van against ours, so I'll be bringing the Shorty van to the NoNameNationals
Well, racing him with the van is the plan. But, you have your van's mixed up! This isn't the "Van of War" that's heading down to Sikeston, this is the 318 2bbl shorty van, maybe the slowest vehicle in our entire fleet !!!! (well, it might take down the Rambler... LOL )Who says you can't race Dartfreak with the van.
The van is a known combo, his is yet to be determined.
Lord willing, I'll be there! If it's heads up, I'm in a world of hurt. It's a 1/8 mile track and I'm going to be happy if I get into the 12's with our '77 shorty!I just want to see one of these FABO races actually happen instead of 30 pages of trash talking. (I know it’s in good fun). Oh yea, heads up run whatcha brung is my vote.
You are are 100 percent correct. This car has never made a pass. Im hoping to get it at the local track and get it dialed in before sept.Who says you can't race Dartfreak with the van.

Yea but 12s in the 1/8th with a chick sleeping in the back and your buddy drinking a beer riding shotgun make it worth it!!!Lord willing, I'll be there! If it's heads up, I'm in a world of hurt. It's a 1/8 mile track and I'm going to be happy if I get into the 12's with our '77 shorty!
A&W root beer..... Nobody gonna puke in my vanYea but 12s in the 1/8th with a chick sleeping in the back and your buddy drinking a beer riding shotgun make it worth it!!!
Naw, You'll have to mess up pretty bad to go 10's. I think sorted out and with traction, you are deep in the 8's, and maybe a chance at 7.99. Even if you don't have it all sorted by then, I think low 9's with ease. *IF I go low 11's with the van, you gonna see me jump, so have your camera ready !!I think heads up ill stand a little bit of a chance not much but a little chance. You are saying 12s im betting low 11s is sat my car is high 10s as it sets just guessing like I said its never made a pass.
LOL....What's the wife driving out there?
Traction is gonna be the key. I was measuring for tires yesterday. Right now I have 215s and the spin pretty much at will lol I wish now I would have went ahead and did the spring relocation.Naw, You'll have to mess up pretty bad to go 10's. Lol I gotta stand a fighting chanceTHAT'S CHEATING !!!
We'll be shooting video at NoNameNationals for sure......Really I would like to see you all race both heads up and bracket.
Just remember....
Unless there is video posted it did not happen!
NoNameNationals is a scheduled race at Sikeston, Mo, Sept 30/Oct 1. I mean, it could be rained out or we could be under some government lock down, or some other unforeseen circumstance. However, it's scheduled and hundreds of racers will be there. I'm already registered.Do any of these "call-outs" ever result in an actual race?
I went low 11s with a bone stock 87 Thunderbird 5.0 automatic on 215/75 r14 tires. Dartfreak75 should be in the 9s, or 10.0 range if it gets any traction.I think heads up ill stand a little bit of a chance not much but a little chance.
