I am looking for the correct radiator for my car. I need a 22 inch radiator correct for a 340 with air. Looking for part number 2949 068. Thank you.
 
well..i have one that's close....2949 066 but i believe it is a standard 1969 340 rad.

been thinking...if you have to recore your ...066 standard 340 rad i bet it would be very easy to massage or punch the last six into an 8 while the top tank is off, brass is so soft.
..but you didn't hear me say that.

Does anybody know other than the part number what the other physical difference would be for an air condition Transmission versus non-?
 
I think a standard 340 rad may have been 3 core...not sure but an air car would have a 3 core rad for sure

Pretty sure my non AC rad was 2 core. I had it totally redone with an extra core added. Not cheap...$600, but beautiful work.

I have one but i won't be able to get it till this weekend as its at my storage i'm located in so cal i pulled it out of a 69 swinger over 20 years ago it was holding water then also have the 614 fan shroud

I am aware of that. I currently have a two core which I will have re-cored but would like to have the correct number radiator if possible. I am looking for the specific radiator listed in my wanted ad.
 
its right here in california lake isabella 93240 pulled out of 69 swinger like 20 years ago held water then but now so a core 300 you can pick up here or can take to spring fling in van nuys california
