I think the diesel responds better than the gas engines.

my guess is because most diesels run turbos, and most gas do not
getting that turbo to add even a few pounds (and having the fuel and spark to safely use it) makes more of a difference then just about any tuning you can do to a N/A engine
for that matter though, i once had a lil VW Passat, with a 1.8t turbo gas engine in it
fun lil car, rated at 170 hp and 166 foot pounds
i had some whizkid reprogram the ECU, and instead of 7 PSI that turbo would spike at 17 and hold 16 all day long (the most the stock fuel system could safely handle, with a heavier FPR i could have gotten a higher boost
just those changes netted an advertised 50 horsies and 65 feet
i never had her on the dyno but boy did she scoot along

Correction from yesterday it did get to 7 after supper and mild overnight.
The weekend will be crap of course with cold temps and high winds.
A bit of bad news guys , not been feeling my best over the last few days I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been admitted into hospital and they are keeping me in. I have only gone and bloody poisoned myself, thanks to my poor cooking skills. What I thought was an onion for my salad turned out to be a daffodil bulb. They said I should be out early spring

Wow.. one miserable day. Rain, rain and more rain. Hasn't let up all day.
We had a bad situation out in Edminton 2 days ago.
Two cops aged 30 and 36 went to a domestic and they both got shot dead by a 16 year old. Never even had a chance to pull their guns. He also shot his mother and then turned the gun on himself. The mother survived but still in critical but stable.
Surely the mother saw signs her son was in a bad state.
The one cop will never see his new baby on the way.

Wow that's bad I think there must be some reason why the kid did that, like maybe being enthralled in video games all his life?
Cleaned the dust off the Scamp today and going to do it again before it sees the road but now I can go in the garage and see a clean car.

Holy ever shiny Fred, my car is clean under the hood and other than the intake and headers is bone stock. Sure looks good. How many miles on those heads
Sure had huge problems though. Awful to have these things happening but today it seems to happening a lot.
