Hey there,

Just thought I'd share some of the progress on my '69 Dart GTS bracket car. A huge milestone for me over the weekend. It's been 1 year and 10 months since this car moved under its own power. What started out as a simple engine rebuild blossomed into a complete top to bottom and front to back rebuild of this Dodge race car. Nearly every single piece on this car minus paint and body were replaced, rebuilt and restored. It's been a VERY long road but we should be heading back to the track very soon as we only have a few more punch list items to complete. Enjoy!

Looks good and sounds good.
Can you give a quick rundown of the engine and driveline combination? And maybe a picture of the engine. We like pictures.

What is your closest track? Edinburgh? Pine Valley?

Car is beautiful and sounds great. Combo details? Engine size, gears, tire size, trans, converter, etc?

Tons more details to this car, but these are the main ones. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks for sharing. That thing should rip. What does it weigh?

Right at 2,900 lbs. fully fueled but without the driver. I decided to purchase a nice set of Longacre digital corner weight scales and they are FANTASTIC. I still need to tune the corner weights a bit, but I was able to try them out and get a total weight.

Thank y'all for the very kind words. I really appreciate the feedback about the set up on the car. It's been a very tough road to get this car moving again. I do want to recognize the original builders of this car - Torelli Pro Cars in Lockport, NY and racer Tom Caruso. It was very well built several years ago and has really stood the test of time under extreme conditions.

I don’t doubt with the cars weight and power the Indy 540 bracketmaster should make, the car should run real good. As long as converter is right. I know all about long journeys haha. Just when you get to the race track after a long journey of getting the car ready for the race track, then the real work begins with getting it dialed in.
I don’t doubt the car has the capability to run 5.80s-90s. Again, as long as converter is right.
