Wild finish for game(s) 162 MLB Playoffs

People chatting about the LCS format (2-3-2)

I've had a thought on a "It pays to be a winner" approach. You win at home, you stay at home. You lose and the series moves.

???

I got no problem with it. Pretty sure used to be 2,2,1,1,1. Dragged on imo, too many travel days off.

I'm saying, you win, you stay.. you lose you move. Not a set schedule.

Pays to be a winner

Seattle wins game 1 in Toronto.... Game 2 is in Seattle. Etc etc

Springer hurt, can't run.
First base open. I was calling for an intentional walk before the sacrifice play was over! (Rooting for Seattle, obviously). Walk Springer, pitch to the next guy for a double play. WHY,WHY, WHY pitch to him? (Fourth all time in post season home runs)
Stupid, just stupid.

Got to watch it with my oldest boy, born in 91, so he doesn't remember the BJ's WS win, so this was very cool win.
Helluva game and series! No one hangs their head in this one. It came down to Springer, HUGE difference maker, even if 0/3 leading to that at bat. Starters come in for 7/8 and Hoff strikes out the side....wow.
As I said, no head hanging here, quality teams on both sides.
Lets Fn Go Jays! :canada:
