the rear end setup is not how its going to stay....right now is just to make it a roller. I will dissasemble the rear end and put different gears in it and paint the housing. I will replace the shocks with KYB's too, but I wont get that done untill performance.

nice build man. ar eyou at wyo tech in laramie? never been there but it sounds really cool. we are at lccc in cheyenne so kinda rivals to u all lol but its cool still

Great work. And hopefully that engine bay will have some color, too, not just "black-out".

yea yea, i know....lol it looks pretty bad right now. I just did that as a temporary solution in high school...I will be doing the car the right way now. The whole car, including the engine bay, will be citron yella.

nope no longer at wyotech, I was there for 9 months until I found this school, hot rod institute.

ok sweet lol. do u like it more? i think im gonna check it out. that is more of the field i wanna get into instead of fixing mini vans and soccer cars lol

Yea, I honestly love it and think it was a great choice to come here rather than stay at wyotech. check out the link http://www.hotrodinstitute.com/

If your really interested in getting into the custom car industry you seriously need to look at this school.

Awesome ride. I wish my car was coming along like that. Congrats on the young guns thing too.

Thanks man, pretty excited, should have some new update pictures in a week or two of the sheet metal work I am starting on. going to make lower quarters, replace a floor pan ect....

its going all the down to the bare metal

what a cool school! maybe next year when im done with my current school, my old lady will let me go there.

yea, cant complain about working on hot rods/muscle cars all day.

started working on my car again today, started taking paint off the rear quarters to see how bad they are.....so far just looks like poor previous body work.....updated pics are going to be up soon

first project was to make a motorcycle gas tank. Got familiar with hammer and dolleys and the english wheel. Also got me familiar with welding sheet metal correctly and metal finishing.

Great build!
I wish I had someone to help me with my car like this!

Alas, car work is just a hobby for me, not a career choice. I only have time to work on my cars in my spare time, teaching myself, which is one of the reasons why the Dart hasn't changed too much from when I bought it.

Here im not completely done with the radiator support yet but you should of seen it before...somebody tried to tow this car with a chain or towstrap around the radiator support......idiots. It tore the support in two places that I had to fix and folded this part in half. You can see one of the tears in this picture.

Sorry this picture is terrible quality...didn't turn out at all. The is behind the lip...in the front of the wheel well...it was rusted out so I made this patch for it and welded it up. finished it and coated it to prevent further rust.

Other part of the radiator support that was damaged, welded up the crack and finished it

Here is the repair I made on the Rad support where that bad crack was...not yet finished in this pic. Welded in a new piece and formed the support back into place.
