Anyone Want A Free '61 Lancer?

I pulled the engine after it threw a rod, I moved to Ok in '04. The other day the County of San Diego red flagged my Grampa's property. It has to go. I'd rather it go to someone who could use it rather than it go to the crusher.
The title was burned up in the Cedar Creek fire of '03, but it's in my name and I will furnish a bill of sale.
It's a '61 Lancer 4dr, had new tires on it, 770 model. 225 (gone) rebuilt 904 w/shift kit. 2 1/4 exhaust. the body is good, the left qtr was damaged when the tire came off. I don't think it had any rust on it. No pics as I'm here and it's there.
Located in Alpine, Ca 91901.

My brother is going to get some parts out of my other Cricket then I can kick it loose. Maybe Sunday?
The loose parts SHOULD be in the trunk, barring my tweeker uncle stealing anything......

I live in Lancaster but have an old car friend in La Mesa a few miles from the car. I'll just go for a visit and pick it up. there are parts you want out of the car? if it wasn't something too big and heavy I could ship it to you. (by Cricket I'm guessing the Ply. version of the Colt? I may have some Colt stuff around) anyway let me know. I'll pm you with my Phone# and you can call anytimeO

Plymouth Cricket was an English Chrysler, Colt was a mitsubishi.
I have some things in it, a pair of magnum 360 heads, etc that weren't part of the car.
The car is complete (or was) except for the long block.
They should have a 40yard dump bin there that's hopefully not blocking it in

well; they're in their late '80s, my grampa was in really good health before. In 3 years he went from chopping wood daily, delivering day old bread and waking 2 miles a day to barley being able to walk, never going outside and letting his garden go......he's been growing awesome tomatos for 50 years!
My uncle will yell at my gramma if her food is not to his liking, the room has to be lit, and at the temperature HE wants; nevermind it's their house

well I got back tonight at 10:30pm which was a bit off of my target of getting home around 5:00 :-D
here are a couple photos at the gas station on the way home, I wanted to get a photo of it where it was parked but it was starting to get dark and we needed to hurry. it took abot $100.00 round trip for fuel, and I had to buy breakfast and dinner for my friend who drove, so still a great deal!!
