impact of modern muscle cars on the old car market

After 30 years of owning classic muscle, last year I left all of that behind and ordered a 2018 Challenger Scat Pack, exactly that way I wanted it. I have zero regrets. My neighbor kid (20 years old), doesn't give a damn at all about old muscle. All he cares about is boost, bagging and a...

Frustrated with inability to do body work!

All you are doing with the wax and grease remover (or water) is giving the surface a temporary gloss so you can see how your body work is coming along. I use a pump up bottle and spray a fine mist to give an even gloss. It will just evaluate off if you do nothing, but it's best to wipe off the...

Frustrated with inability to do body work!

Just remember, if the metal is flexing while you are blocking, you are making waves. Let the paper do the work. You will likely need to prime and block several times.

What are you doing this evening?

Watching the neighbors wife take a shower, with my binoculars. Same thing I do every Thursday night.

Many New Cars Have No Spare Tires

A spare was a $295 option on my 2018 Scat Pack. In fact, the lack of spare tires has created new businesses like... Performance Spare

After a day with the Scat Pack, it's even better than I expected.

My new, 2018 Challenger Scat Pack is finally here.

The mustang is my wife's car, and no, we didn't trade it in. It's an 07, GT, 5 Speed. She loves it.

Blew 200 bucks, and "yes" it was Horrid Freight

You are about right on the price. Some smaller boxes are less but they have crazy boxes that can run double the that. The SnapOn boxes and other premium boxes are really very nice, extremely solid and hold some retail and trade in value. My coworker's SnapOn box has remote keyless entry, just...

Blew 200 bucks, and "yes" it was Horrid Freight

I use a $400 Craftsman box, professionally. It's great and I saved $8,000 over a similarly sized StrapOn box. Even if I had to replace my Craftsman box every year, I would still be money ahead for the next 20 years.

    Scat Pack Cars

In the new cars, it's a different but similar theme. Low option big engine. Although most option them up, defeating the purpose. In its l least expensive form, a modern Scat Pack has cloth interior, the standard audio system, and standard equipment similar to the least expensive model.

Caliber SRT-4. Buy or pass on it?

Yes, the build quality is poor at best.

Caliber SRT-4. Buy or pass on it?

You would be better off giving the cash to a stranger. The reason you don't see many of those on the road anymore is because they were total garbage, and they are all in wrecking yards. Brand loyalty is absurd when picking a daily driver, get the most reliable car within your budget.
