Never heard of BTE?

Sounds to me like the intake has been milled. I’ve bought one that is a paper weight now due to this. I’ve ran aluminum intakes on my drag car with no extra gaskets for years. Just rtv it and go. However. The rtv needs time to set up. Don’t fire it 30 mins after you apply it.

70 Dart drag car. Looking for a better option than just removing the factory rubber bumper and installing a bolt. The bolt works okay but seems there should be a better option. What are you all using.

We had the same thing! I like to cut the dogs in half and pan wear them to get a little char on all sides. Good stuff

Hey all! Looking to replace all joints in the front end of my 440 Dart drag car. Looking for a recommendation for best front end kit for the money. It has the factory Kelsey hays discs on the front. Also looking for a decent shock. (Non coil over) Any ideas or experiences would be great!

okay. Bought a 70 dart drag car. Put a 440 in it. I have bought 3 different throttle cable set ups as full throttle has been a challenge. After close evaluation I realize the firewall actually flexes when applying the throttle. For some reason they had cut a 6x8" chunk of the firewall out. Right...

Yep. All slack is out. But with the spacer and bracket I got the cable sits at an odd angle. I can make it work by buying a bracket for my cable but I really want to redo it all and get rid of the 45 year old cable. Keeping safety in mind.

Looking to replace my worn out throttle cable. Wanting to go with a linkage style. 70 dart no/e drag car, 440, m1 intake, 2" spacer with 1050 dominator on top. Can only get maybe 90% throttle with factory cable and Mancini bracket. Anyone know of a kit or what have you done to convert??

What about a rod as opposed to a cable. Talked to a family member in Texas and he claims the rod is safer as well as more accurate for my bracket.car set up...thoughts?
