The Proper Way To Winterize Your Mopar, According To Me!

FWIW, I place Downy dryer sheets all over my car in the winter. Someone told me years ago to do that with our camping trailer and we never had any signs of mice once I started using those. I place a couple in the trunk, 2 or 3 in the engine compartment, and 1 in each footwell of the interior...

Take a ride with me in my 10.20 Duster

That's awesome. Looks like it runs as good as it sounds. Who wants me to make a video in my 16.2 Duster?:)

    Quadrajet vs Edelbrock 1405

If you use the 1405, get the thick base gasket from Edelbrock as it helps keep the carb cooler and prevents the fuel from boiling. I believe you also need Edelbrock's adapter plate to mount the 1405 on a Performer intake to prevent a vacuum leak. They also sell a specific Mopar throttle lever...

    Cat Pics

I've got to get in on the kitty pics action. The butterscotch and white is our 15 year old Chloe. The black one is Igor that we took in as a stray a year ago. Chloe is a lover and Igor is an evil little guy that doesn't care for much contact unless it's his teeth/claws on you. :)

    73 Dart Front suspension rebuild

FWIW, If your car is still driving decently now and you will have a garage in the near future, I would definitely wait until then to tackle the front-end. It's very nice to have the luxury of time and, as others have said, there will likely be unforseen problems to deal with. For example, on my...

    73 Dart Front suspension rebuild

I assume you measured your upper ball joints to know which socket to purchase? I know SBP and LBP are different and I think there may be one other size. Definitely not something you would want to find incorrect once you're into it. edit: I just noticed that your kit is for disc/drum so it is...

    73 Dart Front suspension rebuild

My only advice would be to find a non time-sensitive location to do that work, if at all possible, especially if you are a first-timer. Suspension work can hit you with many unforseen problems that suck up time. Granted, I am just a hobbyist that is slow at pretty much everything I do. I would...

    1987 318 LA

If you go to plug those holes, don't get the bright idea to drill them deeper or larger for a larger set screw. I learned the hard way in my younger less educated years that you break thru the water jacket in the head and let water into the exhaust ports via the smog passages. Not my fondest...

    Illinois

I'm in Central Illinois and it's the same here. Taxes keep going up and the roads keep getting worse. We're about 4 years away from 30 but I don't see a bill like that ever passing in this state, unfortunately.

    Quick... which way's better (225/273)

I've always wondered if the complete fuel injection and turbo setup from a late Buick 3.8 would work well on a 225 slant as the engine size is so close. I think the cool factor would be off the charts but I'm sure a mild V8 would be much cheaper.

    Sway-A-Way Torsion Bars

Glad that both of you got things worked out and thanks to you both for the update. It seems like many times that threads on here never have a resolution posted, even after multiple pages of help has been provided.

My father, Dustin Foley aka Metallidart

I didn't know your father but very sorry for your loss. As others have said, you have come to the right place for help.
