Yeah I'm not the original owner of the vehicle and the throttle cable just seems very long haha. Maybe it was swapped. I'll give it another try tomorrow and report back. Good to know that a bit of loop is okay. Thank you guys!

Would it be better to remove the other breather as well and just put a regular oil cap? That way there can be a bit more pressure within the system. If that even makes sense. Or does it not matter which one you use.
