Gotta laugh, better than crying. lol My engine guy flowed a DART CNC 400 CFM head for comparison and on his bench he got 398 CFM.. So something is way off at Hughes. When I confronted them their attitude changed rather quickly.. just sayin

I am going thru this now with my big block max wedge victors, I sent Hughes the heads for their monster max wedge cnc porting and their numbers are well exaggerated to actual results. they claim 397 cfm at 700 and my heads after the cnc are showing 346...

Yes - that's next weeks issue, fitting the lift off Aero hood and getting all the zero turn fasteners located and installed.. The fun never ends !

We are mocking up a set of his 2-1/8 headers on a 73 Scamp with a 440/493 conversion, we are using the A/R engine plate, initial mockup was ok, may need a little massaging of the tubes, we definitely had to open up the fenders larger than the templates given. We will be setting motor in again...

Check out the pro/parts headers from Bob Mazz, he has 2" or 2-1/8 steps, We bought a set of the 2-1/8 steps and are in the process of stuffing a 440/493 in a 1973 Scamp drag car, we are using the Eddy 440 max wedge victors and it seems from initial mock up they fit ok

Yes it's mini tubbed and mono's are right under frame rail, the issues are 1: I don't think the 8.75 will last with our combo . 2: have about 2" to leaf, just a little less to inner tub 3: tires are centered pretty well but impossible to mount unless you drop rear unless you do fender mod...
