    30-50

41 going on @ 80 (very bad neck & back). My first car was a '57 Rambler ($500.00) in college, then a Dodge Aspen (free) in college. Learned to drive on a Horizon. My grandpop was a big Mopar guy: always the newest Imperial & a smaller Plymouth for granny. I remember being a kid & riding in...

    Overpriced Crap Yards

Hey Dave, Glad you do the salvage yards, got the front sway bar from you - looks great! THANK YOU. BTW, years ago before the internet made hunting a bit easier for parts, I just needed a stock small bolt pattern 14 x 4 1/2" rim to replace a bent one. Someone gave a number for a Mopar yard in...

What is it worth? 1966 Goodyear Blue Streak tire.

I'd quess you could get @ $200.00 for it without much trouble, people love those nice spares...too bad it was used a bit at some time. I have spent & gotten good money for just the plain old GOODYEAR POWER CUSHION white walls 6.95x14's on SBP steel rims with 4 1/2" rim width. I actually have a...

    dog dish

The set of red line dog dishes is sold, the other 2 sets of Plymouth ones are still available & will wait a bit before putting on eBay. Someone here saved $50.00 off my price for the red lines I had on eBay by taking the discount I offered to A-Body folks here

    dog dish

I just listed as set of 5 red lines, stainless, beautiful, on eBay before I saw this. If anybody here wants them they can hit BUY-IT-NOW & take $50.00 off the price. Search eBay item # 260077720784, my user ID is paulochsriviera. Also have a set of 5 of the early Plymouth dogdishes (the type...

where to send this stuff need advice

2 Comments, I find NOS is usually cheaper than rechroming. The above referenced chrome shop in PA (Paul's) is first rate...have used them off & on for 15 years: always perfect, everything looks like sterling, so beware that the rest of your chrome may look worse! Very expensive but worth it...

    A DIRECT SWAP '71 904 for '70 904 plus... ???

Thanks OLDVART, I understand your info but I am also taking the driveshaft from the 8 3/4" rear & can use whatever spring parts I need from the 8 3/4" car, SO the driveshaft from the 8 3/4" car will already be shorter & won't need to be shortened as it is already, RIGHT? THANKS AGAIN for...

    A DIRECT SWAP '71 904 for '70 904 plus... ???

Hi, I am getting ready to swap on my 1969 Valiant 100 2-door post with original 170 Slant six the currently installed Automatic 904 (part # 3515804 ALUMINUM bell housing out of a 1971, what car exactly I don't know, also has "0744" on bell housing) for a very low mile Automatic 904 transmission...

    Thinking of buying a '67 Valiant 100

31 = 3 speed 904 AUTOMATIC (no code 34 for '69 Valiant) and the 3 speed 904 MANUAL would be coded as 11. The 904 auto & manual are light duty torqueflites in 99% of these with original slant sixes (still very good for most small blocks too IMO).

The Great White Brick - '69 Valiant

An interesting assemblage of body parts! Being a valiant man, I never liked the darts rear but love the front ...so maybe it's the best of both. Looks like someone put earlier Valiant tailights on it too...I'd call it a Deviant Variant!!! I think when finished it will have one cool look.

    Thinking of buying a '67 Valiant 100

"On the drivers side frame rail there's a small triangular metal piece where a Z-bar would be located if the car was manual. Someone told me only manual cars got this piece of metal, but mine has it and it's an auto. What gives?" My 69 2-door post Valiant 100 (a stock stripper, radio delete)...

HELP ME PLEASE: RESTO BUILD SHEET & FENDER TAG ?'s @ Transmission

"and I also have read that the serial number is stamped on the block first in '68." I read somewhere that the start of VIN marked engines & transmissions was in 1969 with the Daytonas ONLY that year. But I may be relaying incorrect info, so.... This is the only car I've ever done hard core...

HELP ME PLEASE: RESTO BUILD SHEET & FENDER TAG ?'s @ Transmission

With regard to the 904 being an auto or manual, it was both I believe: "D11" = 3 speed manual 904 while "D31" = 3 speed automatic. Thanks for all the help already, appreciate any & all info everyone.

HELP ME PLEASE: RESTO BUILD SHEET & FENDER TAG ?'s @ Transmission

I am new here & have already gotten lots of good info regarding my current project with regard to the direction to take my '69 Valiant 100 2-door sedan: I think I am going to keep it fairly stock original as its a survivor (39K, mostly original paint, rust free, "perfect" interior, etc.) and do...

New here, will be looking for advice!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys, I knew this was the right site to get honest advic from experienced folks. My thoughts at this point: 66signetv8 - great car to look over as I think about my '69, Johnny Dart - I think you are reading my mind with regard to this stock survivor. I have decided to do...
