    Can't have a Mopar?

I think I would have to go with mid-late 50's T-Bird, late 60's Cougar, early Falcon (reminds me of a bodies). Not a big fan of the bigger cars, no matter what make. Sure, I had a 69 RR, but still prefer the smaller cars. Even wouldn't mind getting my hands on an early business coupe.

    headlight switch knob

If I remember right, there should be a button on the back side of the switch, behind the dash panel. If you push the button, the entire knob and knob shaft come out. It's not like the windshield wiper knob. At least this is the way it is on my 64, so should be pretty much the same.

    Death of a /6

I was very hard on my /6. About a year after I bought my 64, I blew it up. I actually ran it out of oil. At the time, I wasn't sure of much (16), the sending unit wire came off and I didn't know until one day on the 680 in the Bay area .....BOOOOOM......... then nothing. That's how I learned to...

    Pulling /6

I've done it both ways, and beleive me, unless you want to spend a ton o cash and time, do it in place. You will, as stated previously, end up replacing a lot more when you take the motor out........it's almost like a disease!:snakeman: Make sure you aren't drinking anything when you make your...

    Bought a welder..HELP!!

If you have a lot of stick experience, you should be able to master this no problem. Same principle & technique of stick, you just have a continuous feed of electrode and can start & stop a lot easier with a trigger. I highly recommend getting a cheap auto darkening helmet too. When your in a...

    Bought a welder..HELP!!

I can help you with most welding info you may need. I work in the welding supply industry. The thing about using the flux core wire on body work is not necessarily having it leave flux behind, but more so that there is too much heat, and it is harder to control on thin material, as the smallest...

I'M an idiot in need of help....727

Well, now that I figure I won't be able to use it, I might as well put it up for sale. I have already rebuilt it, so it is nice & fresh. You early owners might have a need. No cracks, stripped holes, etc. Has ball & trunion shaft. I can add pics later, if anyone is interested. Let me know...
