Way back I was told that Holley was making the M1 for Mopar and it was the same intake…could have been total BS…strangely the only M1 single plane I own is the one for the V6
Well after about 5 years of ordering and never receiving a thing a Trick flow intake ….and heads showed up at the machine shop today… intake looks like a lot like a Super Vic… nice casting on the intake
I’m starting a 5.3 LS build and I’m using a clay smith cam… I got it off a guy who used it for testing purposes on the dyno…it was the second best of the ones he tested… good enough for me
After buying a Super Vic a few years ago I would never recommend one unless you do your own porting…it literally needs 20 hours of work to get it right… you would end up with a $1500 intake if you paid someone to fix it
Sorry I missed your post…it is in fact the free cam bottom end with the shocker top end… I just picked up a new msd distributor for it this week so it will be on the dyno the next time there is an opening….
Us poor SBM suckers need something like this Mayhem head package from Straub … 330cfm as cast and potential to get into the high 300s with porting…
