me too , blu up my ring and pinion but his axles never twisted and are still straight

dont know what kind is on there now , but the mount on the motor just sits on the bolt on the mount on the k menber , hope that made sense , when i get them off ill try to post pictures

tried to get my 68 cuda safetied today and was told motor mounts arnt right , the car came factory with a 273 when i got it there was a 440 shoehorned in . i was told schumacher makes the mounts i need , if so where could i find them , thanks for your time

ive got a 68 cuda that came factory with a 273 , when i got it there was a 440 sitting in it . so i finally got it all buttoned up and took it in to get a safety and he sed ive got the wrong motor mounts , any thoughts on what i need and were to look ? thanks very much

hes got a bunch of mopar parts cars , mostly a bodys and c bodys , 1/2 tons some bb stuff lots sb 780 978 5553 sheldon , tell him dale told you

ring and pinion , ring had about half the teeth gone , pinion had 1 tooth partially there , the rest was gone . granted it probly was 40 plus years old

68 barracuda notchback 8 3/4 489 rear didnt last 5 feet , course when the light turned green i dumped the clutch and hammered the throttle to the floor , thats what youre supposed to do when your racing

would not worry about the dana , but i feel the clutch will be next or if the clutch holds then the trans will pile up . im thinking it'l just be a money pit and the rr too i could butcher it and still sleep at night , the cuda has factory sheet metal , even original windshield

ive read that you have to check your trani after you blow up your diff , well i disintigrated the 8 3/4 ring and pinion after installing slicks , , im running a 4 speed , so does that apply to standards too ? thanks
