OK, thanks. So we are in the same page. I do want to replace my axle seals as well, and maybe even the bearings but what I am talking about is the seal on the end of the differential where the drive shaft meets the rear axle. Any chance you have part numbers?
I know this is an old thread but just starting to search for replacement seal for a 7 1/4 rear end and seals/bearings for axle shaft. I have a 68 318 cuda convertible.
Cold has killed progress. Trans is being rebuilt. Engine is at machine shop getting some work done including boring, balanced rotating assembly, crank polish. drivers quality bumpers on their way.
This cold snap stopped me in my tracks as the car is outside right now. Need to drop transmission off to get rebuilt and engine block to machine shop to get mic'd and see what machine work it needs or is recommended. Waiting for used bumpers to come in and some other parts I've been buying for...
What year did they start making a 318 4 barrel? I did not know they made a 318 4B intake. MOPAR is all new to me.
Do the other 4B air cleaners look just like the 2B but with a larger base?
Any specific recs for stock cast pistons?
