Ok,thanks for the link! In the photo of the blue 69 340 it has the short pump(iron) if you look at the sides it sticks out and has extra bolt holes on each side is that correct or do 67/68 340's have a different timing cover with those extra in them?

Ok I have a 68 barracuda. I'm installing a 71 340. It's got the timing cover and aluminum water pump installed from previous owner. I'm wanting to install all my pulleys etc. the water pump pulley sticks way out further than the crank pulley. So I got the cast iron water pump and it has extra...

Just curious if you had say a 66 barracuda buckets console and a 67 barracuda buckets console would the shifters be the same? I know 68's are different(no t handle).

It's a 273 auto on the column drum brakes basic car. Would it have been a 7 1/4?

I jacked the car up and it's an 8 3/4 spun it and it was a 3.23 sure grip Rearend replaced at one time?
