Soda blaster works great. Like new appearance.

It basically vaporizes! Think of a self-cleaning oven.

With heat! Seriously if you put that Kframe in at whatever temperature they use, it bakes off all oil/grease, paint, etc., without any warping or change to the metal. Looks brand spanking new when done.

When I recently refinished my K Frame, I took it to a local NAPA store that had a large oven to really clean the part. I'd heard that it's nearly impossible to remove all grease/oil doing it by hand. Total cost was $25 to bake the K Frame, and it came out perfectly clean, bare metal.

They are still available from Cragar. New, of course.

My original part broke one of the small hold down tabs off recently. I'm looking for a bezel that is in good shape, before I try to repair the one I have. Thanks!

I do know that. I bought an IVR to replace that component while I’m at it. So I disconnected the temp sender and grounded it. Temp gauge didn’t move, so I suspect the gauge is bad. Curiously when I grounded the temp wire, the oil gauge pegged full. I imagine that’s because both of these gauges...

Yeah, if I can recall now...this was last year, and I’m almost 66, so here goes; I think the fuel was reading too high while out for a drive, and then I noticed the temp gauge pegged to the right. Pulled into a friends driveway and then discovered the melted wires. Peeled them apart, taped them...

Last summer when I first drove my Cuda after a pretty extensive restoration, one day my gauges seemed to be acting funny. I discovered that the temp sender wire and the alternator wire got too hot and melted their insulation together right where they lay on top of the passengers side valve...

I was often wondering the rarity of a bumper jack cover. I have one in my '69, that has always been there.

You bet, we went in 1980 with a brand new paint job. At that meet I learned about the rarity of this car. Drove the brickyard, etc. That Indy meet was awesome!!

Jim, I seem to recall seeing a pic of another red 69 fastback with a white top, but it’s the only one I’ve seen. It wasn't the 'Cuda package though. The actual color of my top is Pearl White, it's not pure white. There are tiny flecks of gold in the material. I lucked out because Legendary had...
