I have a 360 stroked/ported etc. to a 410. I was told the early Dak tranny would be a better for mileage withe the added 4th gear.

I was told the early Dodge Dakota transmission would fit in place of a 904. Does anyone have a comment or clarification on this?

Redfish, can you tell me about the connections - is the red wire connected to (+), and the black a connection to negative (-)/ground?

I wanted to use LED's and purchased new holders and 12v LED lamps and they won't turn on. I am not sure if they should be 5v due to the voltage limiter. Can someone offer a suggestion, thanks

There are both BOLT Patterns for the 8 3/4 available. That in itself does not mean it's not necessarily for a "B" body. I am looking for a 4.5" bolt pattern anyways.... I guess I should also ask for the following additional dimensions; Length Overall...? Distance between the Back-Plates...

In the meantime, I now have a 318 for sale.... Came out running fine, just not what I wanted for a power plant. Open to offers (not sure what to charge) although I know what I paid for the 340, but it was a new build....lol...

Well, funny enough, my friend has the 8 3/4 sitting in his workshop. I will make this a priority when my new Wilwood front disc brakes show up. Once they get here, I will get the rear end put in as well. Dam - just ad a new drive shaft made *&*%%^...

Wow, been busy and I see the board is as well!!! First of all - the 340 I bought was from a "Friend". He had the engine built at a local engine builder (machine shop) 2 years ago for his Dart. The crazy guy put a Hemi in instead... Anyway, I would trust this guy to the end - lol... It's in...

It's off to the mechanics today and I'm back to work so I can pay for it.... Putting in a new 340 that I just bought from a fiend along with a rebuilt tranny, new MSD ignition system and will install (later) new Disc brakes in front... (Wilwood).
