I think my tranny went out on my 63 dart gt. No forward gears only reverse works. Fluid checked, level okay. No sure what's wrong. any suggestions??? perhaps time to buy used or rebuild

I bought a 318 w/904 tranny earlier this year off a running 74 dart. Original intentions were to swap my S/6 with this motor but having second thoughts now. Motor /tranny is nice complete with roller cam/lifters and intake but no carb. If interested let me know

I'm planning on swapping my slant six for a 318 on my 63 dart gt w/push button auto. Can I drop in the 318 and use my original 727 or should I upgrade to a 904 . Any suggestions or recomendation would greatly be appreciated
