    318 340 steel crank

Hey rusty, you can take your safe space and shove it up your ***. You would go cry to your momma if you had to deal with the **** ive gone through and seen. There aint no snowflake here. Bashing was just a term line razzing, or heckling, or having fun with. And who the hell uses “GAWD”, what are...

    318 340 steel crank

Now that all the bashing has ended. I realized it was a cast crank and i scrapped it, along with the 318 and a 340 i had laying around.

    318 340 steel crank

Yes, it is the one in the picture and it came out of my 1967 satellite and is completely original. Everyone else says it is forged and not cast. So again my question is what is a forged smallblock crank worth if i decide to sell it?

    318 340 steel crank

so what would a good forged crank out of a 1967 318 be worth? Thinking of selling it. I understand that 273, 318, and 340’s have the same crank.

    You gotta see this ......

I had a valve nail a piston in my 440 before. It bent the valve and I found that by doing a compression test on it. I had 150 in a cylinders but one. I'll check he spark plugs and see if the one that went is not dirty as I changed all them righ after this happened cause I thought it was a bad...

    You gotta see this ......

Wish I had time to read all these threads. Also wish I had the knowledge to answer all these questions. Unfortunately I do bodywork, not engine work. I can only throw parts at an engine, not rebuild one. Edelbrock had questions too that I did not know too. So what I'm going to do is replace the...

    You gotta see this ......

Was on the phone with edelbrock and told them my setup. These were the ones thy suggested. I wish they would have told me that I couldn't use the stock rockers. Would have saved me this frustration. I'm just worried I won't find all the metal pieces and have to tear down the engine.

What's a good "stronger" rocker for something like this? Hydraulic cam.

    You gotta see this ......

I have a 1970 duster with the 340 in it. On my build I decided to go with edelbrock rpm performer aluminum heads. I was told I neede a longer pushrod and they offered 2 different sizes. I got the slightly longer pushrods. Needless to say I think I should have gone a hair shorter. They shot...
