I have a pair, found out the hard way. They technically bolt on, but the intake doesn't line up. Sort of like using a 383 intake on a 440. You have to run Hilborn injection or something similar, which I'm not interested in (nor do I have the budget for it).

Yes, I did it last winter. Put in a '72 A body 833 with a Hurst shifter for a bench seat, and the woodgrain shifter correct for '70. Put in a McLeod clutch.

He didn't pay what they were asking, but still paid for it. That being said, if I was to list my '70, would I let it go for less than $50K? Doubt it.

I agree, I thought the same thing when I first saw it. I don't think the stripe needs to be there if keeping the GT trim, or remove the trim and keep the stripe. That being said, I like seeing cars with their original trim, too much of it gets removed and thrown out in favor of just a stripe.
