Thanks for the help, i did the wd-40 and wiped and also fresh oil and wiped doing it several times i think it will be ok

Ok thanks. I didnt know if I could use something like WD-40 to soften it up or not.

Scraped carbon off piston tops to discover my 71 360 is 60 over. Not concerned with that as motor ran great with no issues. My concern is carbon that may have gotten between piston and cylinder bore. What can I do so it wont cause any problems. Thanks, Rick

Its a 70 swinger with later model discs I believe are 73 big ball joints

Ok, so I used the puller setup with the all thead to remove the bushings from my uca. One came out fine, the other pulled the inside through and when it came out it must have enlarged the hole because the new bushing slides right in all the way by hand. Am I screwed or is there a fix for this...

My '70 was bronze body and gut with white painted top. :worthles: I have pics on another thead but I have no clue how to move them.

If the fan olny moves about 3" on a known good battery try turning by hand with a breaker bar and socket. Sounds like it might be seized up.

Sorry all, I' ve been in the hospital last few days but i agree Frontier Town may be your best bet. Depending on the date others in the area may be open. Man I would love to hang out with some other mopar people. I can never find too many at any one spot.

I pulled the motor and trans from the dart (360-4sp). I know nothing about the motor except its a '71 block and it runs pretty strong. It has J heads a performer intake and a d/p holley carb. I removed the plug at the rear of the block to ID the cam and found an erson cam w/ 186 stamped over...

My trans is not an o/d trans and w 3.91s if I find an o/d trans what would I need to swap it for my b-e body trans.
