ok so i just pulled it out and was shot with a ton of transmission fluid. Is that normal?

So i bought the car 2 years ago, the speedometer never worked. Finally got around to putting a new cable in but nothing happened. So now im going to try replacing the speedo drive gear, but i do not know how to get it apart. Any help would be appreciated. Here's a picture of where i am.

The bracket on my 360 seems to be bent so i have to replace it. Here are some photos, if you have the bracket and are willing to sell it please message me or reply to the add. Thank you.

Alright I'm just happy to know that i didn't break something. I'll post some more pictures of the P/S pump if i cant get the pulleys straight. Thanks everyone

I managed to get it back in, refilled the radiator ad started it, let it run for 2 minutes, no leaking. On a side note, i cant get the power steering pulley to line up with the fan pulley its always crooked, any ideas on that? And thanks everyone, i really appreciate the help.

Yeah, that sucks but right now i dont really care about the bolt, what about the fluid gushing out? is it suppose to happen? Or is there a crack somewhere?

I think i really messed up, so im going to start from the begining just in case everythings related. So last week i was driving and the Power steering belt flew off and the car over heated. I was close to my house and was able to get the car home by pushing it. I losened the two...

I did an oil change last week and was very lazy afterwards, i left the oil in a bucket outside. Of course it rained that night, pretty badly, and now i have dirty watered down oil. Will a general service station take it? Or do i have to do something special?

Are you sure it should have 6 belts? The back seats don't seem to have a place for seat belts to be bolted into. And the glove box is gone...

Yeah it has a bench seat. Only two seat belts, one for the driver and one for the front seat. So when the car came out it was advertised to carry 6 people? So i could legally carry 6 people now right? You think 13 people? I've got a couple of friends, i think ill test that out.

Heres a simple question for you guys Ive had my 71 scamp for 15 months now, and for the first time i wondered how many people can legally fit in the car. The licensed to carry number. Is it 4, 5, or 6?
