What parts are worth keeping off of a /6

Ok guys, got it on a stand and got all the brackets off as well as the intake and exhaust manifold, surprisingly the only bolt that broke was on the heat riser in the exhaust manifold. According to the numbers on the head it appears to be a 225?

What parts are worth keeping off of a /6

Thanks for all the replies, i just figured if it was to be rebuilt that i would have it bored over which would require new pistons, im assuming aftermarket cams and valve terrain parts are available still for the /6? I will definitely keep all the internals, i need to get it at least up on a...

What parts are worth keeping off of a /6

Carb is toast lol it is completely white inside with corrosion, i did open the oil fill cap and there is definitely heavy rust on the rocker arms. I should of pickled the engine when we removed it. I know if it was to be rebuilt that everything minus the crank would need to be replaced

What parts are worth keeping off of a /6

Hey guys i had to pick up my /6 and transmission from my dads work where it has been sitting since we pulled it out of the demon. It has been sitting under a tarp for the past 6 or 8 years, not sure the condition of the internals but it ran when it was pulled from the car. My question is what...

Anyone using the Mopar 4051004 Fuel Sender?

So the cheap spectra fuel sender bit the dust in my demon, never was happy with the inaccurate fuel readings. I know the latest factory part number is the 4051004 sending unit. Has anyone used one with good results? Also i know that the pickup tube may have to be bent down to touch the bottom of...

Any source on replacement gasket for 71 gas cap?

Does the vent ever go bad? I checked it and it appears to be working correctly, it is allowing air to be sucked through the vent hole and the valve closes when you try to blow through it

Any source on replacement gasket for 71 gas cap?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, i crossed over that gates number 31743 provided by @66Valiant528 to a stant 10800 cap from oreillys. We get a little bit of a price break from oreillys through my work so i ordered one with my cost being $10. The gasket swapped over perfectly although the...
