    392 Hemi intake solenoid blockoff?

You may have very well answered my next question. By removing this how much would the performance be impacted by the motor. My 2500 Hemi has the same actuator but that seems to be controlled more by engine load than rpm.

    392 Hemi intake solenoid blockoff?

Evening all, Curious if anyone has used the intake solenoid block off kit for their 392 in an Abody. I'm in the early stages of putting together an upcoming 392 swap and this appears to be one of the issues with fitment against the firewall. Ideally I would like to leave the firewall as is but...

    392 swap vs 340/416 build

Noted. I appreciate everyone's insight and opinions on this one. I reiterates my initial thoughts and helps clear my. long term plan.

    392 swap vs 340/416 build

I appreciate the feedback. That was my exact plan, run the 340 as is and begin getting all the parts together. Next question for this group... are there any specific years or versions of the 392 to consider? I know at some point the HP increased from 475 to 485 but wasnt sure if a certain year...

    392 swap vs 340/416 build

Good to know. I still plan on the 6 speed while my knees still allow. :)

    392 swap vs 340/416 build

You make an excellant point. My current 340 runs awesome but the more I modify, the more side effects show up as well regarding drivability and temperament. Since I'm 90% street and 10% track that has been one of my biggest concerns. I finally get the performance but at what cost. I will...

    392 swap vs 340/416 build

Got it, it's nice to have that guage at least. I was around 11k for the 416 build and aftermarket transmission. I would like to keep it comparable "if" the 392 is a better all around rout . With these swaps getting more common I'm looking for a good thread that outlines the parts/steps needed to...

Million dollar question, based on what you experienced is the a general dollar amount your build came in at?

    392 swap vs 340/416 build

Good evening all, up until recently I have been planning on upgrading my 340 4speed to a 416 stroker and aftermarket 5 or 6 speed transmission. With that said until recently... I found a couple 392 Hemis with 6 speed for a relatively if not less cost than the 416 approach. I have not spent...

Good evening sir, I am considering the 392 / 6 speed swap for my 1971 Duster instead of building a 416 and then purchasing a 5 or 6 speed transmission. With that said, I have some questions regarding this conersion and was curious if you would be will to to provide a summary of this process...

LBP upgrade for 18" wheel conversion

Wow... cant believe I never closed the loop on this one. Couple pics with the axle back in, 4 wheel disc, and new wheels. Took the car over to Detroit for the Roadkill Nights event and got a lot of compliments. Overall very happy with out it turned out.

4 wheel disc - recommended master cylinder

Ok great. Did you change anything with the proportioning valve too? I was planning on removing the internal items for even distributing

4 wheel disc - recommended master cylinder

Excellant! Thank you for sending this link. Are you using a booster with your brakes or just the manual master cylinder?

4 wheel disc - recommended master cylinder

Good evening all, I recently finished installing a 4 wheel brake kit on my 71 Duster so I could have the 5x4.5" bolt pattern. Fronts are the typical 73' style but rears are the MBM setup. The car previously had the manual brake Kelsey Hayes front but drums on the rear . As expected the master...
