1972 Dodge chassis service manual states idler arm in bracket at k member tighten nut on bolt to 65 foot pounds then install cotter pin. Idler arm nut at center link 40 foot pounds and install cotter pin.
I removed the lower control arm bushing outer sleeve with a chisel as shown in the manual. Was unaware of the weld washer method (great idea). See attached picture, is this lower control useless because of the gouge. The car will be a street car and not used for racing.
