    Proportioning valve?

Everything is totally stock time warp on my car. Rear brakes are SBP drums, front never even checked! I think they are discs in the front. I should know what I have on the front, embarrassing!

    Proportioning valve?

Here's my symptom on my '72 Dart Custom S6: If I brake fairly hard (not slamming on the brakes, but just a quite fast stop) it locks one or both rear brakes. It feels like they are not proportioned properly. Is there a front-to-rear brake proportioning valve that's adjustable on the Dart?

Online radiator source for S6 (I6) with AC

Almost all of the radiators I'm looking at on eBay seem like at least either the input or output are on the wrong side. From the point of view of sitting in the driver's seat, both my input and output are on the right-hand side of the radiator. It is 57cm wide and 9cm front to back, which is...

Seat belt connector bushing (shoulder-to-lap belt connector)

If no one knows, how about a source just to buy the entire driver belt lap and shoulder composite system?

Factory original (in every respect) Carburetor for '72 Dart Custom

This one is $250 but says it's remanufactured and they specifically list my year and make (72 Dodge) in the listing title. I'm not excited about the price, but if it'll work then I'll just buy it to be over with it. I can't return the RockAuto one the mechanic rejected so that's money down the...

Factory original (in every respect) Carburetor for '72 Dart Custom

Anyone know where I can source a totally factory original style carburetor for my '72 Dart with slant 6/225ci? I brought one I got from RockAuto that looked identical to me but the mechanic said it's not and had to use an old one he has. He showed me some 1.25" rectangular area in the casting of...

Seat belt connector bushing (shoulder-to-lap belt connector)

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the rubber/holder bushing that goes on the lap belt shaft that the shoulder belt slot connector goes onto that keeps it tight? My driver's side one is missing so if I hook the shoulder into the lap it'll just fall out. The passenger side is fine...

Dipstick recommendation 225/6 '72 Dart Custom

That would be great, and receiving it actually in 2 weeks would work but not 3 and not sure if you know your timing exactly and wouldn't expect you to work around a guy who needs the dipstick, haha. ;-) If you are sending from the UK to Israel, then I don't have a time restriction, but I don't...

    Squeaking "bushing" sound from rear

I did pay $8 for a small can of WD40 (along with $11 for a can of starting fluid...a lot of stuff is really expensive here since it's imported in small quantities and taxes are high (it's expensive to run their military despite the subsidy from the U.S., and with a weak U.S. dollar it makes...

    Headlight buzzer '72 Dart Custom

Does anyone's experience point to a typical problem that causes the headlights on - door open - no key in ignition combination to stop buzzing when it should buzz to let you know that you're about to leave your lights on leave the car so you'll be returning with a dead battery? That's a very...

    Squeaking "bushing" sound from rear

I have a nearly constant squeaky bushing-sounding squeak coming from the rear well of my '72 Dart Custom. If I push down on the rear fender even slightly with my hand when the car is stopped and not running I get a squeak. It's extremely annoying. What in anyone's experience is the mostly...

How do I determine if I still have the "small bolt pattern?" Is that a dimension measurement across certain lugs?

Dipstick recommendation 225/6 '72 Dart Custom

My '72 Dart with 225 is out of the U.S., and I noticed when the car came back from the mechanic (maybe 3 weeks later was the first time I checked the oil), that my dipstick ends with the words "DO NOT OVERFILL." In other words, the second "L" in OVERFILL is where my dipstick ends. I guess it got...

What is the number (or even just the name/location) of your dealer that has parts going back to '72? I have a '72 Dart and have to take parts back in my suitcases overseas, which becomes an extreme headache when you can't find the right parts from the standard aftermarket sources! I'd be willing...
