I replaced the ECU when I did the coil because I thought the same thing. You still think it's faulty?

It was an edelbrock max fire ignition coil. I also used 8.5 mm edelbrock max fire spark plug wires. Edelbrock 22739 Edelbrock Max-Fire Ignition Coils | Summit Racing
