Yeah we chatted with the Samurai owner for a while. He showed us the whole thing. It is really nice, inside and out. He said he is also building another K24 for it that will have more power. Really nice guy.
Yeah it is always a fun event. The early years of Zip Tie drags it was an event that you could use like a Test & Tune but now it is so popular you only really get a few runs in. But it is still fun. The amount of cars and diversity of cars is great. A lot of great people as well.
The event was huge this year. It is big every year but it was pretty crazy this year. I got 1 run in on Friday and 1 run in on Saturday. My second run attempt Saturday didn't happen. One of my heater hoses blew on the starting line and I spilled coolant everywhere so the right lane was shut down...
Hey Mike! Nice to meet you, although briefly. The event was huge this year! Sorry you didn't get a run in. I went past your pit on Saturday but didn't see you there. The truck looks great though! Even better in person
I didn't realize I never followed up on this thread. I ended up going back and forth with Sway-A-Way's support team. Long story short, the bars I purchased were labeled incorrectly. Once I flipped them right to left, they lined up perfectly. The bars have been working great since install as well.
I was there again this year. Always a fun event. This year was definitely hot though. I didn't take as many pictures as I have in the past.

Fair point haha. I actually was just looking at the prices and I think I got mine when they were closer to $100. Been a while though since I bought it.
