My 1961 Plymouth Valiant V200 two door hardtop, 1 of 18,586 built.

Back in 2014 I had the gas tank redone, added new fuel lines, water pump, radiator and heater core redone, and had the 3 speed TorqueFlite rebuilt after about 500 miles. The gunk in the trans from sitting took it's toll. I had the wheels sand blasted as they were pretty rusty, and repainted in a...

    1960/`61 Valiant Disc Brake Conversion

A FB friend of mine has a `60 Valiant wagon. (I have a `61 hardtop coupe) He is interested in upgrading to disc brakes, and is willing to go up to 14 inch wheels from the stock 13s. But all of the aftermarket kits out there are `62 and up only, and require 15 inch wheels. Does anyone know of a...

    1961 V100 on eBay

Thought I'd pass along this `61 V100 I ran across on eBay. It is a Los Angeles built car, most likely a 170 engine, but don't know for sure. I contacted the owner and he lowered the price a bit, after I gave him the figures that V200's are listed for in the Hagerty guide. And what i paid for...

    1961 Valiant V200 Hardtop Coupe

Gas tank was one nasty mess. Began leaking the day I picked it up. Which was a blessing in disguise. Otherwise I never would have known. Since it already ran. Dropped it off at a local shop after pulling it. They believe they can clean, weld and reseal it. Otherwise I'll need a fuel cell. Since...

The radio pictured is a 2nd year Lancer I believe. I'll install a hidden FM transponder & CD player, and keep the delete plate. Don't want to add an antenna. And wouldn't use the AM radio anyway.

    1961 Valiant V200 Hardtop Coupe

Thanks. I found a `61 radio delete plate today. A company that specializes in obsolete Mopar stuff. They had an NOS one for $60. www.CollectorsAutoSupply.com I've searched for a Valiant radio for 6 months. There is one in Australia, but they want close to $700 for it. Even a Lancer radio which...
