Swapping out the slant in my '64 Valiant for a 273. I had a complete parts donor that i stripped, but didn't realize I needed the center link to complete the job, and sent the car off to the crusher. And it seems that they are made of unobtanium.. Nothing by MOOG, through NAPA or anywhere else...

I have SpinTech Pro Streets on my '95 Caprice. They are VERY small, and brutally loud without cats in front of them. With X-pipe and cats, they sound REALLY good. (i know this won't be an issue on our early iron..) I plan to put SpinTechs on my Valiant behind the 273.

Red gut in mine too. Not as pretty as yours yet, though.. :) Will be ripping up the old carpet for a new red one. The one in my car was dyed by the previous owner. Will also be swapping out the stock bench for Signet buckets in new Legendary skins.

I prefer the grill, front sheetmetal and bumper(s) treatment of the '70.. would probably swap them on to the '73, personally.

Yeah - I have one of those, too. And it's for sale.. :) It doesn't matter WHAT you ride - just THAT you ride.

Mine has been pretty good, outside of things that I've done to it over the years. Having kids has put a cramp in my riding time. I put 36,000 miiles on it the first six years of owning it. Maybe 2500 in the last five. Snapped the drive belt and clutch cable on the same day last summer.

I also own a Buell. '97 M2 Cyclone. Bought it new in July '97. Also have the remains of a '99 X1 Lightning that I'm building a custom around.

My red '64 used to get this nice, toasty, something's-in-the-oven smell every time i'd put the defroster on. Pulled the hoses off one day - mice had stashed a few dozen hazelnuts down the defroster vents (fins were sun/dryrotted away). My '64 Signet parts car had enough molted snakeskins in it...
