I recently put a 318 in my 1970 Duster. I got a set of 318 exhaust manifolds out of a B body from a friend, the right side went in fine,but the left side is giving me trouble. What I want to know is, are all the 318 manifold the same? Or is there a difference between the a body and b body?
Thanks for verifying that for me, I have already motified the crossmember and am going to modify the bracket. I was thinking about using the stock mount and changing the bracket to fit.
I got what I believe is a a518/ 46re transmission from a friend. He could not remember what it came out of, I am trying to buy a mount and would like to know the make and model of the truck it came out of. I can not find a look up table. The part# is k53008102 0363 6186. I appreciate any help...
The shaft was collapsed, it was easy to get it moving again, a little wd40 and a pry bar did the trick. After wrestling with the steering coupler for a while I got the column in the car. Thanks so much for your help ssba.
The column is the manual column that came out of the Duster, I just swapped the shaft itself. Are the columns different or just the shaft? I took the shaft out, one of the four nylon plugs is missing, it doesn't seem to want to move and I can't tell if it is collapsed. Does the hole go all the...
I thought it looked ok when I swapped it, but it can't hurt to pull it out and check. Do you know what the length is supposed to be so I can measure it.
