Case is, I have the water pump modified (rad. hose tube in different location, some other grindings) and it started leaking from the hole. So it is "one of a kind" and I want to repair the pump, not to replace it. Is it possible to replace the seal, or all of the moving parts, shaft...

I have checked the fluid with engine running and as needed. The kickdown is not installed yet, but I don't see it having an importance at idle and near idle speeds. Things went more weird today. I measured the line pressure from the port as shown here...

I am quite sure the converter is in enough. Otherwise it wouldn't pump at all, at any revs? There is a slight feeling that it is worse when cold, gets little better when warmed. I have tried shifting D - N - R - N - D a few circles, haven't noticed differences. Will try it again.

Continuing the case with this transmission, it is now placed in hot rod, and it is acting a little weird. It drives ok, but won't drive/reverse in idle, needs revs to start moving. Otherwise I don't feel any slipping, feels firm. Could it just be, that motorhome transmission/converter will act...

Maybe I shouldn't change the cam at all? It will be used 100% on street/road, stock 727 and converter, 3.20 gears, in very light car (hot rod). I am planning to use 4bbl carb and long headers, otherwise probably stock engine.

I am having dificulties of finding a camshaft for my project, 360 with factory roller lifters. Can I fit any aftermarket LA roller cam in there? Would existing pushrods fit? Or can I go cheap and put flat tappet cam in there, with hydr.lifters? What pushrods in that case? BTW, what's the...
