Well there's a red wire running from my positive cable through the fire wall. My only guess is ignition switch. It may not be to factory settings the PO did a lot of shoddy wiring jobs on this car.

I checked all the flexplate/converter bolts they were all tight and fine. I found the stud the starter sits on had snapped, maybe that's what it was? I lock tighted it and screwed it back in. Could it be converter making that noise?

I'll check the bolts. I don't have an adapter for my oil pressure guage though. And I don't have a test gauge.

Ill check ujoints here soon. I know they're original to car so they could be at fault here with the higher torque numbers from the 360. I don't know if this is useful or not but I have the 3.23 gears no posi and I'm pretty sure 7 1/4 rear end. Ill get around to upgrading it one day though!

I eventually figured out to clean off my terminals and it started right up. (I felt really dumb) now I'm just working on getting alternator to charge the battery but I've got the tight diagram now so that shouldn't be a problem soon. Thanks for all the help guys!

It ended up I wasnt getting spark from a bad connection in a wire. Fixed that problem. But the motor still is not starting. I know for a fact that there's a spark coming from the coil wire. My last guess is to bring up to TDC and re set distributor
