    Carburetor upgrade and intake manifold

    The offenhauser 4 barrel intake is a good option. I believe it will allow you to keep your stock manifold if you can't get a hold of headers, which tend to be hard to find and expensive.     super six intake and 318 carb

    I've been running a 318 BBD on my slant for a year now. Great power (as you've reported) but keep an eye on that mileage, mine dropped considerably. I have the same issue with the idle screw all the way out, but its not worth me plugging the butterfly holes when I'll be going to EFI soon.
