    light group wiring harness

Redfish- Thank you for your reply. No smokers here or ever in my classic car but there’s something about pushing the lighter to watch it and hear it pop out, seeing the familiar glow of the coils while imagining the idea of smoking being so common back then that we needed our own lighter just a...

    light group wiring harness

Working on a dash for my 1970 Duster and I have similar concerns about cigar lighter power feeds. I am working the dash on a bench setup and going through the connections but I am not clear about the power feeds for two lighters, one in the ashtray compartment and the other on the front of the...

    1970 Duster Rebuild

Just came across your post. I’m restoring a 70 Duster as well so you definitely have my attention! Doing one thing every day moves the project forward regardless how insignificant it may seem. It maintains momentum

1970 to 1972 dodge dart swinger hood

Are the bolts the same 70-72? I picked up a 72 hood and hinges for my 70 and have three bolts with larger washers than what came off my 70. I feel like I maybe lost one or mixed something up.

[WANTED] 70 Duster RH Radiator Side Brace

Does anyone have a parts car they could cut this triangular piece out of? I believe it is 70 Duster specific but could use help identifying other applications if known. Thanks in advance. Ben

    8 3/4 SBP 10x1.75” Drum Help*

I compared the old 2.5” setup that came off the car with LBP axles and the plates in question and they are both 1.75 flange offset Clearly the plates are the problem here Thanks to all for the responses and informative details.

    8 3/4 SBP 10x1.75” Drum Help*

1 1/16” flange to rub pad 1 23/32” Flange hight (Offset) and I guess we can call that 1 3/4” Does that make them LBP backing plates?

    8 3/4 SBP 10x1.75” Drum Help*

Great info thanks for sharing this. I’ll disassemble everything tomorrow, measure the backing plates and post pics tomorrow. The shoes and cast color drums are from a local guy on Long Island who sells Mopar parts and the black drums are from an ebay seller who had already sold 28 drums neither...

    8 3/4 SBP 10x1.75” Drum Help*

Maybe I said it wrong and caused confusion. The backing plates on the car are said to be for the 1.75 A Body brakes and the axles on the car are SBP. The 2.5 backing plates are not on the car. They are what I took off along with the LBP axles. These are not going back on the car.
