I have my slant 6 198 from my 1971 Duster. It had 51k miles and I have all oil change records available. I removed to replace with a 340 so I want to find a deserving home. I also have the matching tranny, drive shaft, rear axle and leaf springs. Barry Elkridge, MD.

As many do, I am in the middle of an engine swap and want to find the proper decent way to part with the original slant 6 198 that I am removing. It looks like it belongs in the Smithsonian because if was a garage kept 51k car that had records of everything that was ever touched on the car...
Came with 14" Cragar SS 4" small pattern. Also only had 205 60 14 all around. I ordered 15" Cragar SS 4" small pattern for the back with 255 60 15's and kept the 14" fronts but moved to a 225 60 14. This gives a 1.5" lift in the back. Ordered rims and tires from "Newstalgia Wheels".
Well I finally did it. My family thinks I'm crazy so I joined this forum to grab some support from people who just might understand. My dad had a 71 Duster and my earliest memory was that car and getting our CRAGARS. It was a sad day to see it go. Never understood why. Now, 34 years later...
