    K Member Swap or Mounts?

I'm trying to drop a 318, 340, 360 or whatever I can get my hands on into my '68 valiant which used to have a /6, my question was do I need to swap out the k member in order to drop a v8 in there or does summit or someone else sell mounts? I'd like to swap them out so I can use solid mounts but...

What a steal, Rust free 4 door Valiant

Yeah, I took that into account when buying it, I really don't intend to sell this one, more of a grocery getter/daily driver that can pick up the pace if necessary. Just an alternative to buying a newer honda/chrysler/toyota, I hate how new cars look/drive. I intend to drive this until they...

What a steal, Rust free 4 door Valiant

Was cruising craiglist looking for parts for my barracuda, and came upon this monster of a 68 signet: No engine or trans, but completely rust-free, new tires, new heater core, new 8 3/4 rear end, master cylinder, new brakes all around, new power steering pump. every piece of trim is there...

    Front end kit?

Hi, I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to doing steering/front end suspension, I was wondering if jegs, summit, or anyone else carries a complete kit with new bushings, k-member, tie rods, upper/lower control arms, pitman, idler arm, etc etc, like everything I would need. Just trying to avoid...

    Where are my bleeders?

Thanks for the pic, solved it, didn't think they'd be on the outside as well as on top. Confused me for a bit since my last project was a 69 VW squareback and all the bleeders were on the inside :P

    Where are my bleeders?

Oh sorry if I forgot to mention it's a 69 barracuda 318 with front discs/rear drums. can't find the bleeders on the front.

    Where are my bleeders?

Spent about an hour now looking at my calipers/wheel cylinders, can't find a damned bleeder anywhere :mumum: All I can see is the flex line going into the bottom, and another hard line coming out of the top. Can't find a bleeder nipple for the damned vacuum pump. Any help would be greatly...

    The Perpetually Engaged Solenoid

Yeah, so everything is fixed, I just replaced the starter, the relay, and all the battery/relay and relay/starter leads. Runs fine. I have a feeling the armature in the old starter was a bit burnt out and it was drawing too much amperage, because the new starter also spins faster.

    The Perpetually Engaged Solenoid

Yep, thats what that lifetime warranty is good for :D

    The Perpetually Engaged Solenoid

So, just an update, I replaced the relay and everything was fine, started normally, but nothing ever works out that easily for me. I had to call AAA for the THIRD time, the lead from the battery to the relay fried and made quite a show for everyone at the chevron station, smoke everywhere. At...

    The Perpetually Engaged Solenoid

Well, this is my second call to AAA in two days to flatbed my cuda home from the grocery store parking lot. Yesterday it was a fried starter relay (I got a custom exhaust welded up, manifolds back, and the positive lead from the relay to the starter got melted onto one of the pipes). So I...

    Questions on cluster lights.

having the same exact problem with my 69 barracuda, down to the turn signal only working on the right side. My hood-top turn signal lights have also stopped working. Dimmer switch on the floor seems to do nothing at all.
