    1965 Dart brakes

Hello. Well, we have moved, and the Dart went with us, but getting it off the 18 wheeler was a challenge, the right rear wheel cylinder had leaked out all the brake fluid. Well, it got solved, but now I wonder if a Master cylinder for a 1967 Dart (dual reservoir) will fit a 1965 Dart (single...

    Long time no see.

Hi there. We consider moving, and my 65 Dart never gave me much fun so I am think it is best to sell it. Then, I think I saw somewhere here long time ago that if people need a car transported people in the forum sometimes could do that if they were driving the same way anyway with a trailer. Am...

1965 Dodge Dart, Rain leaking in to the coupe

I bought a camera on a long cable, 15 ft I think. Not able to find the leak. But, when I lay in the car, and my lovely wife shower the car on the left side of the windshield, air openings for the heater, it finally starts dripping in that little space behind the kick panel on the left side. It...

    No, unfortunately not.

    My second 1965 Dodge Dart.

I have been slow. The Owatrol oil did not fix the leak, and after a long time, wondering what to do, and what not to. Even considering selling the car, I sprayed some undercoating into the cowl. Still leaking. More frustration, and even closer to giving up. But, like a week ago or maybe a bit...

    My second 1965 Dodge Dart.

Yesterday I sprayed Owatrol oil into the entire cowl. I thought it maybe would take days to dry, but it is dry already. The heat is obviously helping compared to like 50-60 degrees. Some of the oil had been dripping out on the concrete under the car, so I need to wire brush that off. Other than...

    My second 1965 Dodge Dart.

Howdy. Well, I need my little lathe too up and running for making some parts for the car. But, it will come, a little by little. I also changed oil for the first time, but I did not have a socket to replace the oil lamp sender which is not working. Went to town, but no one had it. Probably need...

    My second 1965 Dodge Dart.

Well, it is a long time since I posted anything here. Not going into details now about why, but it has not been anything to post. More or less. Anyway, last weekend I had a very bad leak from my gas tank, in 110 degrees. It smelled gas, and my wife told me to move my car out in the street. I am...

Could have blown up both the car and the house.

Problem solved. I took off the little hose in the trunk, where the tube is connected to the filler neck. and connected my blow gun t the tube, and thought to myself that if it is plugged, it will shoot whatever is plugging it inside the tank, and having the cap off as suggested, it will not blow...

Could have blown up both the car and the house.

Yes, there is a tube, it comes out on top of the filler tube, 1/4" or so, then a little rubber hose, and a new tube that goes up around where the left trunk lid hinge is, and then finds it's way down and into the gas tank where the filler tube goes in. So, I assume that is connected to the tank...

Could have blown up both the car and the house.

Hello everybody. We had some really hot days here like a week ago or whatever, 110, and the Dart that was sitting outside the house started to smell gas. Started the car, drove out of the driveway to place it out in the street, and suddenly I see a wet and shiny spot that would have been under...
