Is it clear ? to my knowledge all the reproductions are tinted.....I could never get past mixing a tinted windsheild with the rest of the car having clear glass. I did find 2 NOS clears. Got a great deal on a 5.9 going and have a few questions....Car is an early A, 66 dart. 1) will the "front" of my 273 all bolt on the magnum ? Timing cover, pulley's etc. I am pretty sure I have to use the magnum balancer. 2) If thats a yes will the oil pan off the 273 work with the magnum...

I got my cap for a 66 from the bay..........black is the cheapest. I dyed mine red.......

I think it was a 7 1/4.......hoping to get it all this weekend so I can measure

Cool thanks for the info.......I am sure it wasn't an 8 3/4. It had bolts holding the rear cover on......... I am not up to speed on the differences between the 7 1/4 and 8 1/4......The 8 3/4 I have now is all installed and converted to the LBP axles.

Hey all, I am a couple weeks away from really worrying about this, but I hung an A body 8 3/4 under my 66 Dart. My car was a factory V8 car but I have to be honest, I tore the original rear end out of it right away and I have no idea what it was. I did check and my original driveshafts U joint...

No problem........lol, glad it worked. Were yours "Cat Whiskers" ? If so, they are manufactured by Restoration Specialties. I spoke to the owner about this problem so I figured he had it fixed.

I had the same problem on my 66 dart Mine were from Restoration Specialties. "Cat Whiskers" They sent them for a convertible and they fit exactly right

I am leaning towards the back up lens. My car is a 270 and has them, And to boot, one of my housings is bad.........

Bumping this up...........I have the same problem with switch location....
