    Copper Gaskets

I understand. I do plan on pulling the motor back out and just going through it again. I have to re-ring it anyways for boost. I know for sure my deck and head surfaces are flat. I had them take some off the deck when I first built it 6 years ago. If it's not worth the money and time to do the...

    Copper Gaskets

I guess you didn't read the whole last comment. I last put a Mahle head gasket on and never had aproblem with it again. I guess I should of mentioned that this was also 5 years ago.

    Copper Gaskets

I don't think I'm getting detonation, after the FelPros I put a Mahle gasket in there and it didn't blow out again but again that's with out the boost. I figured because it is .030 over it wasn't sealing on the stock sized gasket gasket ring enough due to the small amount of metal on the ring. I...

    Copper Gaskets

I honestly have had bad luck with the FelPro gaskets. My engine is bored .030 over and it seems to keep blowing out those gaskets every so often. Thus another reason why I decided copper. Is there another brand that makes a conventional gasket for the /6?

    Copper Gaskets

Has anyone here have some insight with the copper gaskets? I'm planning on running boost to my 67 225, maybe about 5-8psi. I've heard the copper gasket is the way to go using boost. But I recently had something brought to my attention about using the copper gasket. O-rings and reviever grooves...

Converting to '68 style windshield gasket

Yeah I've already called AMD, I don't remember the exact measurement off hand but I know their kit is for the 2 door non post, which is 2" shorter then what the 4 door/2 door post cars need. You maybe on to something there with the B body lengthed trim. I'm going to dive into that to see if...

Converting to '68 style windshield gasket

Not to sound rude but this thread is for the 4 door post car that Siksty re gasketed. I need the 4 door post/ 2 door post trim set. AMD only makes the non post 2 door hardtop trim. It's quite tragic. 67 post cars had a different gasket then the 68-76 it used the plastic locking strips. 68 they...

Converting to '68 style windshield gasket

They don't have it, they just have the plastic locking strips for the 67 gasket and the gasket for 68+. For what ever reason like everyone else.

Converting to '68 style windshield gasket

Have you had any luck finding the trim? I'm also in the process of doing the same conversion and am having a hard time finding the trim. Did a great job with yours! What I can't comprehend is I can find the plastic locking strips for the 67 4dr gasket but not the gasket and can find the 68+...

    67 Dart windshield gasket issue.

I love my 67, but I'm having the crappiest luck with certain parts. Seems to be the worst year for parts between the rest of the A bodies. Long story short, I'm getting my windshield replaced and am having one hell of a time finding a replacement gasket. It's a 4 door, from what I understand the...

    1967 Dart Drivetrain swap.

What would you recomend for a rear end? I see someone recomended the Ford 8.8 but I'm not sure how I feel about using a ford rear end in my Dodge. But I'd keep that option open.

    1967 Dart Drivetrain swap.

Yeah, I've been thinking about the wheel adapters and been looking. I can't even find any for that size. I guess I'll just have to go a different route for the rear axle.

I'm not sure what you mean by easier? Easier to shorten?

    1967 Dart Drivetrain swap.

Yes, apologies, I guess I assumed it was a given to have the bell housing with the trans. It's an A833 out of an A body that had a 360Mag, I'm unsure of the year but does have the standard spline output. And I do have the yoke for it. Found one off ebay. The motor is coming out of a 77 B300. I...
