ya mon, found the short in the roof panel. alls good now

found the wires going to the dome light shorted out in the roof panel. repaired wires and alls good, everything is working the way it should. tkz for your insights

no the issue started before the viper was installed. it would come and go. then be ok 4 a while

sill plates r off for other wire runs. will check there for shorts. the overhead dome light plugs into the harness in the trunk that runs through the sill plate on the drivers side. it feeds down from the roof panel down in back of the rear window into that sill panel

ya mon, thats what i did. but then i cant set the alarm to go off when the door opens and the light goes on and alarm wont set with the light on

yes. i removed the switch and disconnested it from the harness. with the switch in my hand the light is still on.

ive disconnected both door jam switches and removed a brand new headlight switch and the light remains on. any. no other c ideas of what could be feeding the dome light. the car does not have a trunk light, glove box light or a under hood light. it has no other courtesy lights of any kind just...

ok tkz. is that regulator replaceable or is it a part of the fuel gauge

hi guys. got a question 4 yas. i have a 69 barracuda and none of the factory gauges work on the dash. only the amp gauge. my 67 also had the same probem. we changed the fuel gauge and that worked for about 6 months. any ideas guys. thanks buster, from long island ny

ok guys thanks for the info. does anyone know the correct number of splines on the power steering worm shaft. mine measures .625 (5/8 in) diameter. im quessing its 36 as thats all i can find with the 5/8, inch diameter

my stock power steering coupler hits the header tube and cant turn. someone suggested a different type of coupler. im stuck so any ideas will help. car is ready to go except for the steering coupler. thanks in advance for any idewa or info to resolve this problem. buster
