[FOR SALE] Weld wheels - draglite? with tires

I've got a set of weld draglites taking up space, they would be better served being used on a moving car all are dual bolt pattern, and were on a big bolt pattern duster, I can't find any part numbers to confirm rears are 15x10 maybe 11 with about 6 or 7 inches of backspace with 295/50r15 =...

    rear leaf questions

I just had a look, I think the original pin holding the leafs together just got stuck removing it is definitely the way to go here. I believe I owe an apology to whomever put this together originally, my bad. Still doesn't excuse the rtv I keep finding everywhere.

    rear leaf questions

So I'm removing the rear leafs on my duster to install new ones, there's a cracked leaf on each side, and I came across a front relocation box, finally something done properly and not held together with red rtv but it was back to form on the drivers side leaf as they ran a bolt through the...

any ideas what this wire is for

I think I can safely write, this odd wire was going to the horn relay I was doing some work tidy up the wiring a bit more, saw the horn relay inside by the drivers kick panel. It had a spade connector and no wire, which explains why it hasn't been working for a while. Made a new connection et...

SUCCESS!!!! closest friend wasn't available, they were trying to get things done before the rain this afternoon so I propped the column up on a crate tapped the coupler till it started to clear the indent for the pin got in the car and then pulled it out only to see there was no coupler...

    steering column removal

I'm gonna combine these ideas and see if I can get an extra set of hands today. I've tried pulling on it from inside by myself, but however, if I can get someone inside to support the wheel while pulling on it I can tap on the coupler... worse case scenario, I finally have the excuse to...

    steering column removal

so close yet so far, after struggling for an hour my column has only cleared the notch for the roll pin I ended up using a couple of wrenches as spacers, and using the largest pickle fork I have as a motivator but at this point it won't go any farther right now its soaking in knock r loose...

Starting another EFI installation on my ‘71 Duster 340 4-speed

I'll be keeping an eye on this, as I'll be adding hyperspark and sniper 1 to my big block, hopefully sooner than later as the boxes are here. Interested in seeing the results and process, even though it's a different engine etc... I'm all for easier starts and smoother running as well.

no lights, not even a blink

I don't feel bad at all. I learned something new, ammeter, and learned more about how the car was wired up when it was stripped down and turned into a drag racer long before I bought it fortunately I had already figured out enough to not try and hook up those ammeter wires to the cluster to...

no lights, not even a blink

and the disconnect ammeter was the problem i ran a wire from the batter to the black ammeter wire which is supposed to feed the fuse block etc.... all good now, even have the brake lights back, really would have been helpful if autometer was bothered to add these kind of things to the...

no lights, not even a blink

a hahahhahahahaha found this "The ammeter connects the battery feed to the main splice." the ammeter wires are currently not connected to anything, when I put the volt meter on it I get 2v I suspect connecting those to eachother will solve the problem, gonna read some more would have been...

no lights, not even a blink

yup I can send power down the wire from inside the dash and it works, I am starting to suspect I should just check the connection from the battery in the trunk to the factory harness but having someone reinforce the obvious helps with triggering these other ideas, thanks

no lights, not even a blink

as the title reads no lights, nothing to be had from the head, turn, brake, etc.... on my 71 duster I've been finding all kinds of wierdness this weekend as I endeavor to install some new autometer gauges after getting home from the transmission shop on Wednesday my friend, who was on point...
