    Desert Car Kings

Caught the Barracuda episode the other night and it was the 1st time I'd ever seen the show. Anyone else notice them removing an air cleaner from a slant-6 during the teardown, then later talking about how rare this V8/pushbutton car is? Something doesn't add up...

    Hello from Northern California

OK, regarding my Challenger, since you asked: It's a 1970 "Western Sport Special", which is a pretty rare option package that was only sold in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas (mine was built at the L.A. plant and sold in the S.F. area). There were only something like 3500 of them made...

    Hello from Northern California

    Hello from Northern California

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! To answer a few of the questions asked: I'm originally from the East Bay Area (Livermore/Dublin), but I've lived in the Central Valley for the past 10 years. My Duster was originally a 318/TF904 car. I built & swapped in the '71 340 that's in it now, as...

    Hello from Northern California

Just found this site & thought I'd join up. I have a 1973 Duster I've owned for 25 years now, and grew up with my dad's '65 Barracuda (273 Commando/4-speed), so while I'm new to this site I'm not really new to A-bodies. I hope to make some friends here and maybe swap some tech help (there's...

    How tall are you?

I'm 6'4", and with a tuff wheel and factory buckets in my '73 I'm unable to straighten my legs out either. I don't want to cut/drill the car and I never take it on long trips, so I just live with it.
