My name is Frank I have owned this car since 1982 it is an original 1971 340 3sp duster it was restored 15 yrs ago and now has a 418ci stroker motor with a six pack and a 5 spd Richmond tranny it has not been dyno tested yet but is estimated approx. 600hp with 500ft lbs of torque hopeing the car...
dont do it! you have to cut the frame rail that that holds the torsion bars and rework it outsise the tunnel because the trans does not fit in the tunnel then you have to make a new crossmember then play with shifter rods to get ones to work with the setup
This looks like a much better fit than I had. I made the mistake of going with a richmond 5 speed I definately do not recommend using the richmond It was a nitemare!!!!1
