Are you using an msd box? If so, try taking the ballast out of the equation. Connect both ends together. That is what I had to do to get mine to start. Check what the other people are saying on this thread also. If someone thinks I am wrong please speak up. My feelings won't be hurt.

If you are using an msd box and the electronic conversion for a 70's or newer system, I believe you don't need the ballast. I had one in the loop for a while but my car stopped starting. Ended up that I didn't need the ballast. This is what I found out from another site. If you can get it to...
